Pantograph Repairs
We offer services in pantograph repairs, in particular:
- Major overhauls and revisions of current collectors of type AKP4 and 5ZL
- Inspections with all the necessary measurements
- Post-accident repairs (reconstructions)
The high quality of our services, qualifications, and the experience of our employees guarantee failure-free operation of current collectors over long periods.
We provide repair services for major overhauls and for revisions and we individually provide repair services within the scope determined with our customer. At each repair stage the customer is able to inspect the repair process. The large scope of repairs offered allows customers to choose an individual machine repair scheme. We perform the repairs mostly using our own parts and components. The whole process is performed under Class H insulation or higher depending on requirements.
Spare Parts for Electrical Machines
We produce top-quality spare parts for all repaired machines, such as:
- Stator and rotor winding coils
- Commutators
- Rotor shafts
- All the bearing and labyrinth elements
All spare parts for traction units are made by our employees and using our plant and machinery, based on our own technical documentation.
We can also produce spare parts based on documentation supplied by customers or, if missing, the repairs and spare part production in our company comply with our quality-assurance system which allows us to guarantee the high quality and reliability of our services.
Quick Access to a Quality Engine
In order to meet the expectations of our customers, Aurator has its own engine warehouse. This idea was borne out of the needs of our contractors. Depending on the scope of the traction unit repair, the repair time is 7–28 business days. If the customer needs an engine on the spot, Aurator sells engines from its own resources which allows it to reduce the waiting time to 3 business days. This is a key advantage in many cases as quick access to a quality engine allows the customer to save on other additional costs such as locomotive downtime.
Our engine warehouse makes us stand out from among our competitions as Aurator offers a wide array of electrical machine assortment as: EE541, LK635, LS430, ED118, MG91H, AD4346, LKP353/282.
Storage for Rolling Stock Machinery
Aurator sp. z o.o. also operates a warehouse with customer-provided engines. This is another key benefit to customers. This service consists in storage for rolling stock machinery in our warehouse for all those contractors who do not have their own storage space. As part of keeping the so-called circulating reserve, Aurator Sp. z o.o. provides machine storage.
