The company has worked on a variety of repair projects from small repair projects requiring works to be completed within a short time frame to allow rolling stock to return to operation to large collision or corrosion damage repairs requiring an adaptable solution and utilising its expertise on repairs to find a suitable solution.

Rolling Stock Design & Consultancy / Project Management
Assenta Rail’s compliance department based at its head office in Edinburgh specialises in the management of maintenance processes, consultancy services focused on systems, procedures and continuous improvement of the maintenance development function of rolling stock operators.
As a certified Entity in Charge of Maintenance (ECM) for freight vehicles and an Attested ECM for passenger stock the company adheres to strict control processes and systems at all times to ensure works are carried out safely, in line with regulatory requirements and in line with defined maintenance specifications.
Assenta Rail Depot in Hamilton
Assenta Rail’s depot located in Hamilton, Scotland is connected to the rail network and is just 3 miles from Motherwell and the West Coast mainline. By road the company is 5 miles from the M8 and M74.
The depot is Level 4 maintenance approved and carries out most Heavy Maintenance tasks. It is also approved and listed by the ORR as a Light Maintenance Depot. Facilities include:
