Nose Design Experience has announced a renewed partnership with Deutsche Bahn (DB) Fernverkehr for the design of the operator’s Intercity Express (ICE) and Intercity (IC) fleets in Germany.

Following Nose’s tender acquisition, the company will also serve as one of two companies tasked with the development of DB’s new high-speed trains.

Nose Design Experience has previously partnered with DB Fernverkehr for the design of its ICE train fleet

Nose’s previous collaborations with DB Fernverkehr saw the company provide the current design for the operator’s ICE 3neo unit, which features a CMF (Colour, Material and Finish) concept, bespoke seating and improved connectivity.

Christian Harbeke, Managing Partner and Head of Train Design at Nose, remarks:

It is a once-in-a-lifetime experience to be part of this meticulous and visionary planning process by Deutsche Bahn.

We are thrilled to bring our passion for train design and enhancing the onboard experience also to future projects. Our entire team is eager to contribute to this bold vision for the future of travel and is fully committed to delivering excellence.
