New Chief Finance Officer of Go-Ahead Group

Patrick Butcher, Network Rail group finance director, has been appointed as new chief finance officer of Go-Ahead Group, to begin in 2016.

Patrick Butcher has been at Network Rail since 2009. Prior to that, he was finance director at English, Welsh & Scottish Railways, Mapeley Limited, London Underground and Kings College Hospital. Before then he was a management consultant and auditor at Deloitte & Touche.

Network Rail chief executive, Mark Carne, said:
