Dreamstar Lines has released interior design renderings for trains set to operate on overnight rail services in the US.
Developed in collaboration with Designworks, a BMW Group company, the designs aim to create a comfortable and elegant travel experience. Dreamstar plans to retrofit existing passenger train cars for this service.

Dreamstar Lines plans to introduce luxury overnight rail services in the US, starting with a route between Los Angeles and San Francisco. This service is currently projected to launch in 2026.

Joshua Dominic, CEO of Dreamstar Lines said:Our goal is to create a truly memorable mode of medium-distance travel that provides an optimum blend of comfort and convenience for people who are seeking something unique and are tired of the hassles involved in traditional modes of transportation.
The planned accommodations for Dreamstar’s overnight trains include:
- Lounge: Designed as a social space suitable for light dining or drinks
- Standard Class: Comparable to first-class international airline seating
- Bedroom: Accommodates two people with a private bathroom and shower
- Suite: Features a queen bed, additional space, and a private bathroom and shower
- Family Suite: Sleeps up to six people, including two children, with a private bathroom and shower

Dreamstar aims to offer a different approach to medium-distance travel, addressing common issues associated with other modes of transport, such as crowded terminals, stopovers, and limited amenities. By providing comfortable overnight accommodations, Dreamstar’s service aims to help passengers rest for most of their journey, reducing waking travel time.

The service is expected to appeal to business travellers, families, tourists, and others looking for alternatives to conventional travel methods.
