GE Transportation Announces ShipXpress Acquisition
GE Transportation has announced the acquisition of ShipXpress, a leading provider of cloud-based software solutions which allow transportation, industrial and commodities businesses to operate efficiently with supply chain partners.
The acquisition will extend GE Transportation’s portfolio of logistics solutions, enabling it to deliver information and transaction services for international rail customers. The acquisition will also enhance GE Transportation’s expertise in the rail industry, bringing with it almost 200 industry, technical and software development experts.
