World Tunnel Congress 2027

The World Tunnel Congress (WTC2027) takes place on 23–29 April 2027 in Antwerp, Belgium. The congress is organised by the Belgian Tunnel Association (ABTUS-BVOTS) and the International Tunnelling and Underground Space Association (ITA), with AIM Group Belgium as professional congress organiser. It is held together with the ITA General Assembly.

The 2027 theme is Underground Creativity to Meet Societal Needs.

Who Attends

More than 2,700 experts are expected, including engineers, contractors, project owners, researchers, policymakers and companies working on tunnelling and underground infrastructure, including rail and metro tunnels.

Conference Programme

The congress features technical sessions, keynote presentations, training courses and technical visits, giving professionals a platform to share expertise across all aspects of underground construction and infrastructure planning.
