The virtual conference ‘RailTech Infra Forum – The Digital Transformation’ will discuss the latest developments in the digitalisation in railway infrastructure.
The German rail sector is preparing for the biggest modernisation operation in its history. The federal government and Deutsche Bahn (DB) are investing 86 billion euros over the next decade to modernise the rail infrastructure in order to ensure a reliable, high-quality rail network that can actively contribute to the climate goals of both Germany and Europe.
Speakers will come from high-level organisations such as DB Netz AG, UIC, CER, ProRail, the European Union Agency for Railways.
The topics at the RailTech Infra Forum include: transitioning from electronic to digital interlocking, implementing intelligent switches, Germany’s ETRMS level, the dos and donts when digitalising a railway, predictive maintenance and remote diagnostic, international cross-border connections with Germany, and what comes after modernisation? Expansion?
