TransCityRail North

TransCityRail North

TransCityRail North takes place on 5 November 2026 at the Kimpton Clocktower Hotel in Manchester, UK.

TransCityRail is a series of regional rail supply-chain events held across the UK. Each event combines a daytime conference and exhibition with targeted networking, bringing together buyers and decision-makers from Network Rail, transport bodies, train operators and major contractors.

About the Event

Under the theme “Levelling Up Rail. Connecting Communities. Transform the North.”, the 2026 edition looks at how to deliver faster, more reliable and better-connected rail services across the North of England. Topics include how Great British Railways will support northern ambitions, how regional priorities can be aligned with national strategy, and how collaboration between public and private stakeholders can accelerate the delivery of major rail projects.

The agenda features speakers from the Transpennine Route Upgrade, Network Rail, TransPennine Express, Transport for Greater Manchester and Northern, with sessions on the Northern Growth Corridor, performance and reliability, and the digital railway in the North.

Programme

Registration and breakfast open at 08:00, followed by keynotes, panel discussions and networking breaks in the exhibition. The conference closes with a drinks reception, and the day continues with an evening networking reception, dinner and after-party.
