TRACCS Rail Day

TRACCS Rail Day is Canada’s primary indoor and outdoor passenger rail trade show and conference, returning for its 2026 edition on 17 and 18 June (9am–4pm) at The International Centre in Mississauga, Ontario. Organised by TRACCS, the event brings together transit agencies, project owners, operators, contractors, suppliers and policymakers from across the Canadian rail sector. Format

Rail Day runs across two days and combines a conference programme with a trade exhibition and live outdoor demonstrations. The format is designed to support practical dialogue and industry collaboration, offering delegates the opportunity to connect with peers, share expertise and engage with the latest developments in passenger rail delivery across Canada.

The Conference

The 2026 conference is framed around the theme of The Passenger Rail Playbook, a structured exploration of the policies, practices and partnerships required to support consistent, safe and effective passenger rail delivery in Canada. The programme is designed to surface practical insight, tested approaches and transferable lessons across a range of topic areas including policy, capital and risk, technology, safety and standards, workforce development and market participation. Sessions focus on what can be applied, scaled and strengthened across the sector.

The Exhibition

The exhibition hall provides a platform for companies and organisations active in the passenger rail sector to present their products, services and capabilities. In addition to the indoor exhibition, the event features live outdoor demonstrations, giving attendees direct exposure to equipment and solutions in operation. All exhibitors receive the full list of event contacts as part of their participation privileges.

Who Attends

Rail Day draws professionals from across the passenger rail supply chain, including representatives from transit agencies, project delivery organisations, contractors, technology suppliers and government bodies. Attendance is free of charge for general delegates.
