Smart Ticketing & Digital Services Forum will be held ONLINE on 20 May 2021. It is dedicated to digitalisation and e-ticketing for public transport and mobility.

Online Edition of the Budapest Smart Ticketing & Digital Services Forum

This year’s forum will look at the place of digitisation in the revolution of urban transport, and especially the role of digital platforms in offering seamless mobility solutions.

Following the successful 2019 edition in which 100 participants from over 15 EU and non-EU countries gathered to debate public transport evolution, mobility and digitisation, the 2021 edition of the forum feature panel discussions, debates and presentations of the most recent developments in public transport and smart ticketing.

Event Format

The special edition of the forum with an opening keynote by the Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade will create the right context to discuss related topics during three panels will comprise of representatives from major rail bodies such as UITP, MaaS Alliance, European Commission (DG Move), Finnish Transport and Communications Agency, Austrian Federal Railways (ÖBB), Carris and others.
