The previously postponed, 6th Smart Ticketing & Digital Services Forum will now take place in Budapest, Hungary this year on 20-21 May.
Following the successful 2019 edition in which 100 participants from over 15 EU and non-EU countries gathered to debate about public transport evolution, mobility and digitisation, the 2021 edition of the Forum will carry the participants on a journey of panels, debates and exciting presentations of the most recent developments in public transport and smart ticketing.

The confirmed speakers include high-level political representatives, including DG MOVE and top executives of companies active in public transport, technology and urban services.
For its 6th edition, the Forum is institutionalising its efforts to reduce the environmental and social footprint of its activities in a robust sustainability policy. This comprises, among others, the selection of a sustainable host for the event, Sofitel Budapest Chain Bridge, member of Accor Group and of its Planet 21 programme.
Other sustainability actions include the reduction of printed promotion materials (in favour of online ones) and the reduction of the transport footprint of participants by promoting local public transport and, whenever possible, CO2 compensation programs for plane tickets.
