Railwaytech Indonesia 2026 returns for its eighth edition as ASEAN’s leading trade show for rail transport solutions, taking place from 28 to 30 July 2026 at JIExpo Kemayoran in Jakarta, Indonesia. Organised by GEM Indonesia and hosted by the Indonesian Railway Society (MASKA), the event is supported by Indonesia’s Ministry of Transportation and brings together the full rail transport ecosystem across a three-day programme of exhibition and conference activity.

Who Attends

Railwaytech Indonesia is a trade and business-only event, with admittance restricted to professionals aged 18 and over. Up to 15,000 trade visitors and professionals are expected across the three days, drawn from government bodies, rail operators, manufacturers, infrastructure developers and international industry organisations.

Exhibition

Around 250 companies are expected to exhibit across 10,000 square metres of net exhibition space. Product zones span the breadth of the rail sector, covering rail infrastructure, rolling stock manufacture, signalling and control systems, railway technology and components, passenger services and rail operations. Confirmed exhibitors include Pandrol, CRRC, INKA, Sécheron, Arup and Barata Indonesia, alongside a range of international suppliers and academic institutions.

Conference Programme

Running on 28 and 29 July, the Indonesia Railway Conference 2026 (IRC 2026) is co-located with the exhibition and hosted by MASKA with backing from the Ministry of Transportation’s Directorate General of Railways. Themed Advancing Safe, Smart & Sustainable Rail Transport, the conference is designed to connect government authorities, operators, manufacturers and international partners. Key topics include:

• Overview and future plans for Indonesian railway development
• Indonesia–Europe roundtable on sustainable mobility
• Safe and progressive development of railway infrastructure
• Rolling stock technology for smart and sustainable rail
• Re-engineering Indonesia’s rail ecosystem for safety and reliability
• Innovative financing models for the next phase of rail investment

The programme features keynote speeches from senior representatives of the Ministry of Transportation and global railway organisations, alongside panel discussions, technical presentations and B2B matchmaking sessions.
