About this event

Rail Cyber Resilience Summit 2026

The Rail Cyber Resilience Summit 2026 (RCRS 2026) takes place on 20–21 October 2026 in Tallinn, Estonia. Organised by Metis Conferences, the two-day summit is designed for senior rail professionals working at the intersection of cyber security, operational technology and digital transformation, with attendance limited to maintain senior-level discussion.

Who Attends

RCRS 2026 is aimed at decision-makers from across the rail sector, including:

  • CISOs, Heads of Cyber Security and Safety & Operations Directors at rail operators
  • Asset and Network Managers, Signalling and ERTMS Leads, and OT and Control System Specialists at infrastructure owners
  • Rolling stock manufacturers, signalling and systems providers, and software, OT and cyber vendors

Conference Programme

Day One centres on hands-on cyber security workshops and a site visit to Ülemiste Station. Day Two delivers the main conference programme, with sessions focused on moving rail cyber security from reactive defence towards predictive resilience.

Key topics on the agenda include:

  • Keeping trains moving during a cyber crisis — designing operational continuity when digital systems are compromised
  • Predicting the next cyber event using analytics, data and threat intelligence
  • Supply-chain cyber risk in rail and software integrity as a high-risk attack surface
  • ERTMS cyber security — ownership, trust boundaries and cross-border complexity
  • OT governance across IT/OT convergence environments
  • Building cyber-aware behaviour across the rail workforce

Sessions are built around real-world case studies, live threat modelling and executive-led insight, and are described by the organisers as research-driven and operator-led rather than vendor-led.
