Multimodal

Multimodal returns to The NEC, Birmingham from 30 June to 2 July 2026, bringing together the UK’s freight, logistics and supply chain community for three days of exhibition, conferencing and networking. Organised by Clarion Events, the show has been a fixture in the UK logistics calendar since 2008 and forms the centrepiece of UK Logistics Week 2026.

The Exhibition

The exhibition floor hosts exhibitors spanning freight forwarding, road transport, shipping, warehousing, yard management and supply chain technology. In 2026, Multimodal will be co-located with Warehouse and Yard, formerly known as IWLEX and YARDX, in an adjacent connected hall. eDX, the delivery and fulfilment event previously associated with IRX, will also feature under the same roof, extending the show’s coverage to last-mile logistics and e-commerce fulfilment. Attendees travelling to the NEC will also have access to free shuttle buses connecting the venue to Road Transport Expo at Stoneleigh Park, which runs concurrently during the same week.

The Conference

A programme of free-to-attend conference sessions runs across all three days of the event. Sessions are delivered in partnership with industry bodies and associations including Logistics UK, BIFA, UKWA, CILT and others. The conference programme covers themes of sustainability, resilience, technology and people within the logistics and supply chain sectors. Google Digital Garage is also present to offer social and digital marketing sessions alongside one-to-one mentoring.

The Awards

The Multimodal Awards recognise achievement across the logistics and supply chain industry and form part of the wider event programme. Details on the 2026 awards categories and entry process are available through the Multimodal website.

Audience

The event draws attendees from across the supply chain, including shippers, retailers, manufacturers, wholesalers, importers and exporters, alongside the service providers and technology suppliers who support them. Attendance is free to register.
