HSR Asia 27 returns to Hanoi, Vietnam, on 17–18 March 2027. The conference is organised by StratComs Events and endorsed by the International Air Rail Organisation (IARO).

The 2027 theme is Delivering Asia-Pacific’s Next Generation of High-Speed Rail and Mobility, built around three pillars: connecting countries, integrating mobility and accelerating delivery.

Who Attends

The conference is aimed at governments, rail authorities, operators, investors and financiers, infrastructure developers, engineering and construction companies, technology providers and mobility specialists.

Conference Programme

The programme follows a high-speed rail project from policy, planning and financing through to engineering, construction and operations. Key topics include:

• Vietnam’s planned 1,541 km North–South High-Speed Railway and the Lào Cai–Hanoi–Hai Phong corridor
• Integrating high-speed rail with cities, urban rail, regional networks and airports
• Cross-border collaboration and private-sector participation
• Passenger experience and operating costs
• Programmes in Australia, India, Thailand and Indonesia
• Building domestic rail industries, drawing on experience from Japan, China, Spain, France and India
