The Global Rail Transport Infrastructure Exhibition & Conference (GRTIEC) will take place from 27 to 29 September 2027 at the ADNEC Centre Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. Organised by dmg events, the event brings together senior professionals from across the global transport and logistics sectors under one roof.

About the Event

GRTIEC operates as an integrated platform covering rail, ports, logistics, freight, mobility and digital infrastructure. The 2027 edition is positioned around the theme of powering transport connectivity and delivering global impact, reflecting the industry’s shift towards interconnected, high-efficiency transport networks. The event draws ministerial delegations, C-suite executives, infrastructure developers and technology providers from across Asia, Europe, Africa and the Gulf region.

The Exhibition

The exhibition floor spans multiple segments of the transport ecosystem, including rail operators and OEMs, transport system manufacturers, construction and EPC firms, freight and intermodal transport, ports and port terminals, warehousing and dry ports, and trade corridors and economic zones. A number of specialised features sit alongside the main exhibition, including an AI, Innovation & Start-Up Hub focused on next-generation technologies such as autonomous systems and AI-driven operations, a Capital & Investment Pavilion connecting infrastructure projects with financiers and institutional investors, and a Mega Projects Marketplace providing access to major rail and transport infrastructure pipelines from across key global regions.

The Conference

The conference programme comprises a Strategic Conference, a Technical Conference and a series of roundtables. A Ministerial Majlis provides a closed forum for ministers and heads of national transport authorities to discuss policy, investment and cross-border collaboration. The Transport Leaders Club offers a separate environment for senior executives and government officials to engage in high-level dialogue.

Additional Programmes

GRTIEC also hosts a Future Transport Leaders Programme aimed at emerging professionals, incorporating a youth hackathon, mentorship initiatives and live innovation challenges. This strand is designed to support workforce development within the wider transport sector.
