The 12th Annual City-Rail Summit: Intelligence, Innovation, Cooperation, Sustainability
As of January 01, 2018, a total of 35 cities in mainland China have completed the operation of the urban rail line upon 5057.36 kilometers. The subway line is 3,884 kilometers, accounting for 77.2%; the length of other standard urban rail transit lines is about 1,149 kilometers, accounting for 22.8%. In July 2018, the State Council issued Circular “No. 52 document”, which raised the threshold for the approval of subways and light rails, and indicated “quality and efficiency priority” principle. At the same time, with the continuous innovation of technologies such as big data, cloud computing, wireless communication, and intelligence, how the urban rail transit industry adopts technology innovation to build a “smart subway” becomes a core concern.
In this context, the 12th Annual City-Rail Summit will be held in Beijing, China on January 16-17, 2019, with the theme of “intelligence, innovation, cooperation, sustainability”. This summit will provide a platform for decision-makers and experts in the rail transit industry to enhance the multi-faceted exchanges with worldwide metro operators and explore the corporation possibility, in order to promote the construction of smart subways.
