Vice President Public Transport

Dieter Bodingbauer has been appointed as Vice President Public Transport at Kapsch CarrierCom, where he is in charge of the global expansion of the Public Transport division. Kapsch CarrierCom, a subsidiary of the Kapsch Group. The group has advanced intelligent infrastructure and telecommunications solutions for urban public transport operators since 2012. Dieter Bodingbauer will report to COO Thomas Schpf.

We have succeeded in winning an experienced specialist in Dieter Bodingbauer, whose background will enable him to attain the ambitious goals we have set for the Public Transport segment.

Dieter Bodingbauer brings with him years of experience in international management and distribution for technology organisations in telecommunications solutions and capital goods. His experience ranges from strategic business development, product management, and marketing to the formation and development of international divisions and trading partner structures. He has worked with Apple Computer , Alcatel and Lucent Technologies, where he spent a decade as managing director in charge of CEE (Central/Eastern Europe), the Middle East, and Africa. Dieters most recent role was as managing director of Dun & Bradstreet Information Services in Austria.

Dieter Bodingbauer read computer science at the Technical University of Vienna (Dipl.-Ing.) and went on to obtain an Executive MBA from Hayward University in California.
