JetBlue and Brightline have launched a new partnership designed to provide travellers with integrated air and rail travel in Florida.
The agreement marks JetBlue’s first intermodal collaboration and enables passengers to book combined air-and-rail itineraries through the airline’s website.
The partnership allows customers flying into or out of Florida to incorporate Brightline’s high-speed rail service into their travel plans. JetBlue flights to and from cities such as Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando can now be paired with rail travel to destinations including Miami, Aventura, Boca Raton, and Orlando, all bookable in one transaction.

Brightline’s Florida rail network connects six stations: Miami, Aventura, Fort Lauderdale, Boca Raton, West Palm Beach, and Orlando. The Orlando station is situated at Orlando International Airport, allowing for direct transfers between rail and air services.
For travellers in South Florida, Brightline operates shuttle connections between its stations and nearby airports. These are included as part of the combined booking.
Customers selecting JetBlue’s Mint® service are matched with Brightline’s Premium class, while those booking standard fares are paired with Brightline’s Smart class. The rail service includes onboard amenities such as spacious seating, Wi-Fi access, and refreshments.
Barbara Drahl, senior vice president of marketing and commercial strategy at Brightline said:We are proud to partner with JetBlue to enhance connectivity throughout Florida. This partnership enables travelers to book a single ticket for both air and rail, offering a fast, reliable, and eco-friendly rail transportation option while seamlessly connecting to JetBlue’s extensive network.
The agreement also has operational benefits. In the event of service disruption in Florida, JetBlue may offer customers alternative travel routes that incorporate Brightline rail segments, potentially easing the impact of delays or cancellations.
The initiative reflects a growing interest in multimodal transport options that combine air and rail to improve regional connectivity. Both companies have indicated that the partnership is intended to provide customers with more choice and greater flexibility when travelling within Florida.
Dave Jehn, vice president, network planning and airline partnerships, JetBlue said:As we continue to grow in Florida and offer more flights to and from cities like Fort Lauderdale, West Palm Beach, and Orlando, our partnership with Brightline helps us deliver even more value and convenience to our customers.
JetBlue and Brightline share a commitment to innovation and great service, and together we’re expanding transportation options for all of our customers to get to where they want to go, whether they're starting their journey, heading to their final destination, or adjusting plans along the way.
