Bob Crow Dies – Leader of RMT

Bob Crow, leader of the Rail, Maritime and Transport Union (RMT), has dies today at the age of 52. Bob Crow had a lead role in the tubes and railway works union, and has done since 2002.

A brief statement was given by RMT “It is with the deepest regret that RMT has to confirm that our general secretary Bob Crow sadly passed away in the early hours of this morning”. They went on to say “RMT would request that all media respect the privacy of the friends and family of Bob Crow at this distressing time.”

In his 12 years on leadership, the unions grew in memberships and has turned overhundreds of thousands of pounds a year on stock market investments.
