Amtrak has published a map displaying many of its major infrastructure investments contributing to a ‘New Era of Rail’ in the US.

The map features projects that are planned or already underway, particularly across the Northeast Corridor. This work aims to help transform the nation’s rail infrastructure into a modern and efficient intercity passenger rail network.

The featured projects include building new bridges, tunnels, and trains to help meet the historic demand for rail travel and improve connectivity across the nation.

These projects will contribute to Amtrak’s goal of doubling ridership by 2040.
