Customer satisfaction onboard the trains has reached 96%, with on-time performance sitting at just over 86% – one of the highest scores across the Amtrak system.

Over the course of the first 108 days of service; an average of more than 420 people rode the two trips on the service daily.

Amtrak Executive Vice President Jennifer Mitchell said:

Amtrak is proud of what we’ve achieved with local partners in Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama.

Credit goes to the communities along the route, who have embraced this service faster than anyone could have predicted.
