Amtrak has announced a new, limited-time ‘Big City Sale’, offering 25% off regularly priced adult fares on any Coach or Acela Business ticket for trains travelling between Boston (BOS) and Virginia.
Reduced cost tickets are available to book until 13 March for trips between 13 April – 5 June 2026.

Example savings include one-way fares from Baltimore, MD to New York, NY at 60 USD, Boston, MA to Providence, RI at 64 USD and Philadelphia, PA to Washington, DC at 81 USD.
Those booking seats are also advised to take advantage of Amtrak’s Coach accommodations, which offer reclining seats, increased legroom, no middle seats and large windows.
