Alstom Spain has announced its results for the 2024/2025 financial year, with the company posting sales worth 809 million EUR.

The results, which were published alongside its economic, social and environmental impact data prepared with EY, state that 54% of Alstom’s sales corresponded to a number of international projects including work in countries including Luxembourg, Mexico and Morocco.

Alstom secured new orders worth €622 million across domestic and international markets

The company secured 622 million EUR across both domestic and international markets, with flagship projects including the the supply of new trains and the upgrade of the APM system at Adolfo Suárez Madrid-Barajas Airport, as well as the automation of Line 6 of the Madrid Metro providing significant gains for the company.

In Spain and Portugal, Alstom now has a combined order backlog of 4.26 billion EUR, and the company has gathered cumulative investments exceeding 70 million EUR since 2020.

According to the impact report prepared with EY, Alstom’s Spanish operations supported a total of 7,316 jobs across 2025, including 2,917 direct and 4,399 indirect or induced roles, contributing 400 million EUR to the national GDP.

The company also made purchases of over 530 million EUR from almost 1,000 different local suppliers, providing support to the country’s economy.
