Alstom and Skanska have unveiled a new report presenting a proposed plan for a new railway connection between Oslo and Stockholm.
The ‘New Scandinavian Railway – Oslo-Stockholm’ report emphasises environmentally friendly and cost-effective methods to increase sustainability and minimise reliance on air travel between these major cities.
The proposed railway connection also focuses on maximising efficiency, sustainability and passenger comfort.
This report is the result of a comprehensive study and collaboration between Alstom and Skanska, with the aim of enhancing transportation infrastructure in the Nordic region.
