Lantal’s commitment to passenger spaces on railways enable them to deliver a comprehensive service – from train seat cover fabrics and attractive class dividers to durable carpets and wall and ceiling coverings. They provide ready to install products as well as yardage fabrics, in compliance with the latest standards and specifications relating to safety and quality in railway interiors. Lantal’s facilities include an in house laboratory situated in Langenthal, Switzerland, certified to carry out fire tests on materials and components for the rail industry. Lantal’s service also includes inventory management, delivering single source convenience from production to warehousing, saving clients time and money. Customers also benefit from their expertise and support for the lifetime of their products.
Lantals range of train seat covers are available in wool and polyamide blend, polyester, wool / viscose / polyamide blend, and genuine and artificial leather, all meeting the latest in durability and safety regulations and flammability regulations. Extra finishes include film lamination for velvet seat covers and a stain repellant finish. Headrest covers add to the lifecycle of seats, as well as being attractive. Lantal offer polyester seat covers that are coordinated with the seat, featuring colour accents or blend colours. Lantal also supply literature pockets as a ready to install feature in a range of materials, colours and shapes.
Lantal’s dedication and passion for textiles is at the core of the whole organisation, fuelling the drive for optimised quality. As well as seat fabrics and headrest covers, Lantal also supply precut train carpets and uncut carpets, available with doublesided adhesive tape for quick and easy installation. The carpet parts can be serged, either tone on tone or in contrasting colours. Carpets are available in a range of fabrics, which all meet safety and flammability standards, including polyamide, wool / polyamide blend, and wool and needle felt, with finish treatments to add extra durability and protection.
Lantal’s experience in project management means they can be trusted to oversee the whole process: development, engineering and certification as well as prompt delivery. Clients benefit from a single point of contact, streamlined administration, lower costs, and simplification from start to finish.
