WiFi SPARK has developed an industry leading managed WiFi solution to enable public transport companies to offer premium connectivity to their passengers from station to train, to bus to airport and back again, in the most effective way, with only one authentication required.
WiFi SPARK’s station WiFi works continuously with on-train and on-bus WiFi providers to enable passengers to connect to the internet from the beginning of their journey to the end, without them having to log in multiple times on the different modes of transport.
When the passenger has logged in once, the innovative WiFi SPARK technology will recognise their device and allow them online automatically when they return to the station, airport, port or mode of transport, day after day with a ‘Welcome back’ message.
In line with GDPR, visitors must consent to their data being collected and remembered through the single sign on flow. This is managed through the User Experience Portal which will allow the visitor to opt in or out.
