Wabtec UK’s extensive overhaul facility provides class-leading maintenance, repair and overhaul services to rolling stock owners and operators.
We have a wealth of experience overhauling a broad portfolio of power and trailer bogies.
Our range of services include all aspects of bogie overhaul from cleaning, full disassembly and shot-blasting to non-destructive testing, weld repairs, frame modifications and final paint.
Our fully-equipped facilities, which include MPI, NDT & UAT equipment and operators, deliver a range of solutions including frame re-alignments and ad-hoc bogie repairs, with the majority of sub-components overhauled in-house. This includes and not limited to such items as wheel sets, damper actuators, air bags and axle bearings.
We provide an annual capacity to overhaul over 1500 bogies per year, minimising ‘out-of-service’ times and keeping projects on schedule.
