Split System HVAC for Train Carriages

Consisting of two condenser modules, one compressor module and one evaporator module, this split system HVAC was designed and manufactured by Noske Kaeser Rail & Vehicle New Zealand as part of an upgrade program for existing carriages operating on Melbourne regional commuter lines. The specification required an increase in cooling capacity from 28kW to 50kW with the evaporator module fitting in the same space envelope as the previous equipment.
