At InnoTrans 2022, international interest focused on Robel’s first fully electric precision power wrench with the prominently placed E³ (economic – ecologic – ergonomic) logo.
The claim says it all: a strong 2300Wh battery allows up to 4000 wrenching cycles per battery charge, covering about 1200m of rail, with easy battery change for charging.
Ergonomics begin even before the actual work: the carefully balanced machine is lighter than a comparable model with combustion engine. It can be quickly placed on the track using the foldable handles or the crane lifting point. The handles for the operator are individually adjustable in height. In transport position, with the frame pushed together, the machine can be loaded on a EUR pallet.
Operation is just as simple. The machine is ready at the push of a button and it literally takes only two fingers and a bit of intuition to operate it. 30.76 is self-learning – it adjusts its tightening torque to the previous screw connections and regulates the power via speed and torque. The machine recognises defective screws, broken spring clips and damaged threads. If necessary, the operator can tear off nuts and bolts that are completely stuck without any additional effort. All this is digitally documented and shown on the display – the operator just follows the graphics. Optionally, the measurement data can be documented together with the GPS position of the respective screw connection.
