Accidents never happen without a cause… Vibration, expansion, contraction and corrosion can create side to side thread movement which leads to loosening and ultimately fastener failure. Assemblies have to be frequently checked and retightened. Fortunately, there are ways to protect assemblies from accidental dings and scratches. A small investment in preventive detection can save assemblers thousands in repair bills. SECURITY CHECK paint markers are inspection markers which deliver a pasty paint: paint is applied on the assembly (bold – nut – washer). Once dried, the film becomes hard like stone. If loosening happens, the paint will break and a simple visual inspection will alert that the part has moved from its original position.
Nozzle
- Easy to use by screwing the nozzle on the head of the marker
- Practical with its 3 levels, the nozzle can be easily cut to the desired length to meet the desired paint thickness
