PowerSORB™ is a 100% organic absorbent which can be used on roads, water and any other surface. This highly efficient material, made with European Patented Technology, provides 100% absorption of Lubricants, Oils, Paints, Dyes, Fluids, and Coolants.
Within seconds PowerSORB™ is able to absorb up to four times its own weight. Made of light-weight material, this product is easy to handle and disposal is cost-effective.
PowerSORBTM is available in three different forms for various applications and situations (Ordering information and details – see Page 2 of download):
- Dry material to apply directly on the spill to be absorbed. When used in water, PowerSORBTM stays on the surface and can be suctioned or skimmed off. The “problem” material is not transferred from the surface of the water to the bottom.
- Pillows and Tubes of PowerSORBTM material in an absorbent pouch to be placed directly on the spill or to surround the spill as a blockade to prevent further contamination.
- Rail Mats designed to fit between the tracks to absorb leaks from a locomotive during maintenance or storage. Mats have three layers: upper and middle layers made of absorption materials, and lower layer is oil resistant foil with anti-slip coating. Rail Mat is completely sealed from the ground – no leaks – and will NOT absorb rainwater from below. Resilient against cold temperatures and heat resistant up to 356°F.
