Technical Sheets

Foreword of the Manufacturer

To ensure a safe male/female clamping condition, it is important to consider a combination of the following parameters when designing controlled bolt joint assemblies using self locking nuts (HFR):

  • Selection of the correct grade of raw material
  • Tightening torque (NM)
  • Tension in the bolt (KN)
  • Prevailing torque (NM)
  • Coefficient of friction
  • Surface treatment

In order to achieve a security fastening in conformity with industry standards, the 6 points above must be respected. The following technical sheets will aid you in the selection of the self-locking nut adapted to your requirements.
