Blend MX08 Concrete Agitator
Designed for: Ceneri Base Tunnel in Switzerland
Blend MX08 Concrete Agitator mixer was designed for the realization of the Monte Ceneri Base Tunnel: once finished (in 2020), this tunnel will reduce the travel time from Milan to Zurigo by about 1 hour and 15 minutes.
This is an important project for all Europe: delays are not allowed! Best executive quality is required! Monte Ceneri tunnel needs to have 2 tunnels of 15,4 Km/ each: n. 6 Blend MX08 will be there to cast concrete!
The first test was performed on 28th April 2017: Blend MX08 will start work inside the tunnel from July 2017
MX08 Characteristics
- Hopper in Hardox to hold 8m3 of concrete
- Auger with a diameter of 1.150 mm to mix the concrete: in this way we avoid segregation during transport
- 120 kW motor + hydraulic system to mix and discharge concrete
- Discharge with 3 augers together with 3 chutes
- Hydraulic piston on each auger to control the cast
- Shutter on each auger to control the instant flow of concrete to cast
- Augers are not on tracks, in this way there is no deposit of concrete in the hopper
- Automatic greasing system
- Pre-wash system at high pressure
- 2 water tanks of 500 Lt each
- A big diesel tank
- 3 lateral doors for inspection/ maintenance
